Allswell Home Mattress Reviews

Offering some of the best value mattresses on the market, you’ll find three budget-friendly hybrid mattress models at Allswell Home, a company that believes anyone can get a good night’s sleep at an affordable price.

Allswell Mattress Models

Allswell Home, launched by Walmart in 2018, was the first of many “budget” mattress brands to disrupt the already extremely affordable online mattress industry. Offering three competitively priced hybrid mattress models and a suite of globally inspired bedding accessories, Allswell is a one-stop-shop when it comes to outfitting your bedroom (and doing it without breaking the bank).

Now onto the launch of their third mattress model, The Allswell Supreme, Allswell Home is living their mission of offering quality sleep at an affordable price point by day, while simultaneously sleeping their way to the top.

The Allswell

  • Price Range: Starting at $245
  • Mattress Type:  Budget hybrid
  • Best For: Back sleepers and people on a budget

The Allswell Luxe Hybrid

  • Price Range: Starting at $395
  • Mattress Type: Hybrid mattress with built-in plush topper
  • Best For: Side and stomach sleepers, especially stomach sleepers.

The Allswell Supreme

  • Price Range: Starting at $745
  • Mattress Type: Premium Euro-top hybrid mattress
  • Best For: All sleeping positions, especially side sleepers.

Which Allswell Mattress Is Best for Me?

All of the mattresses offered by Allswell are budget-friendly hybrid models. While the original Allswell and the Luxe Hybrid are the most economical out of the three, the Supreme offers a more luxurious sleeping experience with a built-in Euro-top the other two models don’t have. Although you’ll pay a higher price for the Supreme, in the grand scheme of things, it’s still a highly affordable online mattress option.

Here’s a glimpse into what sleepers each model suits best.

The Allswell mattress is a good fit for:

  • Back sleepers
  • Couples
  • Sleepers who like a firmer mattress
  • Those on a tight budget
  • Individuals shopping for a guest bedroom mattress
  • College students
  • Parents shopping for a child’s mattress
  • People in the midst of transition and looking for a temporary bedding solution

The Allswell Luxe Hybrid is a good option for:

  • Side or stomach sleepers, especially stomach sleepers
  • People who sleep hot
  • Couples
  • Shoppers who have a mid-range budget
  • Young adults

The Allswell Supreme is well suited for:

  • All sleeping positions, especially side sleepers
  • Sleepers who like a plush mattress
  • Couples
  • Hot sleepers
  • Individuals ready to invest in a long-term bedding solution

The Best Allswell Mattress by Sleeping Position

When shopping for a mattress, it’s important to consider your body type and sleeping position. Mattresses are not a one-size-fits-all product, as different mattresses (and their materials) support all sleepers differently. If you like to shop for mattresses by your sleeping position, here’s a breakdown of how the Allswell mattresses serve side, stomach and back sleepers.

Side Sleepers

Recommended: The Supreme

The most important factors a side sleeper can take into consideration when shopping for a mattress is pressure relief, contour, firmness, and lower back support. When sleeping on your side, much of your body weight falls on the hips and shoulders. Therefore, it’s important to sleep on a mattress that appropriately contours and supports these areas — you don’t want your hips and shoulders to sink into the mattress, nor do you want too much stress placed on your joints. Finding the proper balance of comfort and support largely depends on the materials used and the firmness of the mattress. A hybrid mattress tends to make a great option for side sleepers, as the foam helps cradle hips and shoulders while the coils keep these areas from sinking too far into the bed and the back supported.

Back Sleepers

Recommended: The Supreme or Allswell

Sleeping on the back is by far the healthiest of sleeping positions because the spine rests most naturally in this position. However, back sleepers must still consider the structure of their mattress; they’ll need a mattress that offers proper support for the neck and spine, as well as, contour for the bum and other curvy parts of the body. Medium to firm mattresses are the best choice for back sleepers because they keep the spine from dipping into the middle of the bed, which is bad for the back. Once again, hybrid mattresses make a good choice for this sleeping position as they offer a nice balance between support and contour.

Stomach Sleepers

Recommended: The Luxe Hybrid

Sleeping on the stomach can be tough on the body. In fact, it’s the most unnatural position to sleep in. Stomach sleeping puts the most pressure on the chest, hips, and spine so stomach sleepers need to pay close attention to the firmness and materials in their mattresses. Since your hips, chest, and shoulders press into the mattress for most of the night, you’ll want a mattress with an adaptive top layer to cradle these body parts. But it’s important not to go too soft because otherwise, your pelvis will sink downward creating an arch in the lower back. Hybrid mattresses that offer appropriate contour and a supportive structure are great choices for stomach sleepers.

The Allswell mattress is constructed with dual layers of memory foam and pocket coils:

  • Layer 1: A quilted top layer made with open cell CoolFlow foam that is designed to increase airflow so that you don’t get hot while you sleep.
  • Layer 2: The spring base layer made of 2-gauge pocket coils designed to support the top foam layer and reduce motion transfer.
The Allswell Luxe Hybrid Mattress Construction

The Luxe Hybrid is made with an identical core structure. The only difference between the Allswell and the Luxe Hybrid is an additional memory foam layer that adds contour.

  • Layer 1: A memory foam top layer that provides a plush sleeping surface wrapped in a cool-to-the-touch quilted cover fabric.
  • Layer 2: Additional foam layers create the core of this mattress.
  • Layer 3: A pocket-coil system made of 13-gauge coils serves as the base of this mattress.
The Allswell Supreme Mattress Construction

The newest addition to the Allswell family, the Supreme mattress, is the plushest of the three with the premium Euro-top serving as the primary differentiator between the models.

  • Layer 1: Premium Euro-top for a luxurious sleep experience covered in the signature Allswell quilted fabric.
  • Layer 2: Two inches of Energex™ foam designed to withstand fluctuating temperature and superior pressure relief.
  • Layer 3: Cooling graphite and copper-infused gel memory foam designed to transfer heat away from the body.

The Allswell Buying Experience

Allswell Trial-Period

The beauty of Allswell is not only the incredibly affordable prices but also its generous trial period. From the day your Allswell mattress arrives on your front porch, you have 100 nights (or sleeps as we like to say) to decide if the money you invested in your new mattress was money well spent. It’s recommended you give your body 30 nights to adjust to your new sleeping surface before initiating a return.

If at any time during those 100 days you decide Allswell is not for you, simply contact customer service and let them know. They will make all the arrangements to have your mattress picked up within two business days. You do not have to shove back in the box or ship it back yourself!

Allswell Mattress Warranty

Allswell Home offers a 10-year limited warranty on all mattresses should they be found defective as a result of faulty workmanship. Here’s what does not qualify under the warranty:

  • A decrease in firmness due to normal use
  • A mattress that is damaged due to a faulty or improper foundation
  • The appearance of a sag towards the middle of the mattress

If a defect is found during the duration of the warranty, it is of Allswell Home’s digression to either replace or provide a pro-rated refund. Only the piece or part of the mattress determined to be defective will be repaired or replaced.

Shipping and Delivery

Allswell mattresses ship completely free within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. You can expect your mattress to arrive 3-10 after placing your order. If you want it sooner, you can pay a small fee of $50 for two-day expedited shipping. Two-day shipping is only available in the contiguous US.

Your Allswell mattress will come compressed and rolled up in a box for you to set up. However, you can pay an upcharge fee to have the Allswell team to set up your mattress for you. If you opt to do it yourself, don’t worry! Unboxing your bed in a box is no big deal! It will take five minutes, tops.

You can finance any Allswell purchase over $250 (excluding taxes and shipping) through Affirm at 0% APR. The application process takes place at checkout, and the first payment will be one month after ordering. Please note this offer is only valid in the United States and is not currently available to West Virginia or Iowa residents.

The Allswell mattresses are currently only available online.

In summary, if you are looking for a quality mattress at an economical price point, Allswell may be the brand for you.

The Allswell and Luxe Hybrid are budget-friendly hybrid options that suit young adults, guest bedrooms, tight budgets, and students. The Supreme is a great long-term investment and offers a luxurious sleep experience for all sleep positions.
